Property tax calculator & hearing info (for budget effective on 7/1/24)

Here is our hearing notice for the hearing at 4:15p on Wednesday, April 3. Please note that for a $100,000 property that stays assessed at $100,000, the tax rate has dropped by 15.01%.

The mailed property tax notice was mailed out the week of March 20. Sheldon’s portion of the mailed notice contained the same language as in our hearing notice. Our notice had more detail than the State’s sample. We included as much as we could with the room we have. For more information, see the agenda for the April Special Council meeting, which has supplemental information regarding the budget development process.
