City Elections - November 7, 2023.

The filing deadline was September 21 at 5p. Here is the candidate list:

• Ward 1 – Pete Hamill
• Ward 3 – Brad Hindt
• At Large – Shantel Oostra

Wayne Barahona did not file for re-election for the at large seat. He was first elected in a Special Election on May 21, 2019 and was re-elected in November 2019. We are grateful for his service 4 ½ years of service to the City.

The 2023 City Elections will be held Tuesday, November 7. The first day a candidate can file is August 28, 2023, last day they can file is September 21, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. Angela Beckman, our City Clerk, has been designated as the person that the nomination papers need to be filed with. Her number is (712) 324-4651. 25 signatures required.
