Chip sealing notice.

Starting August 16, 2023: See here for the maps (4 pages). Those little pink rocks are annoying for a while, but help preserve the life of a street. We will be chip sealing several city asphalt streets starting Wednesday, August 16, Thursday, August 17, and Friday, August 18. We ask that you do not park on these streets until the chip sealing projects are complete. We also ask that you avoid traveling on these roads while crews are working. We will be working on the following streets:

• N 2nd Ave from Highway 18 to the water plant
• N 5th Ave from the water plant south to the new concrete
• N 7th Ave from Highway 18 to Oak St
• Oak St from N 6th Ave to N 7th Ave
• W 7th St from Western Ave to Pleasant Drive
• W 8th St from Western Ave to Railroad Ave
• W 9th St from Western Ave to AGP
• 2nd Ave from the RR tracks south to Van Wyk trucking
• S 3rd Ave from the RR tracks to 16th St
